Celebrating Our Heritage

Friday, Nov 13th, 2015

The Sacramento Valley has a wonderful agricultural heritage with its 2 million productive acres woven together with numerous wildlife refuges and rivers and streams. This heritage can be seen in full bloom at the California Agricultural Museum in Woodland. A recent blog by Jenny Lester Moffitt (a Yolo County resident and part of a local farm family) provides a good introduction to the museum and its spectacular tractor and implement collection. The blog can be viewed at the California Department of Agriculture’s Planting Seeds blog.
