Efforts continue in the Sacramento Valley to complete projects and improve science to promote recovery of salmon and other species of fish in the region. A new document shown below summarizes the program and highlights the seventeen (17) projects that have been completed as part of the program in the past four years.

The Sacramento Valley Salmon Recovery Program is a collaborative partnership of local water management entities, conservation organizations and state and federal fisheries and water management agencies that was created four years ago to complete projects and improve science to promote recovery of salmon and other species of fish in the region. As the following document shows, these efforts are focused on specific river reaches in the Sacramento River Basin to ensure that the projects provide maximum benefit to the life-cycle stage intended.
