A concerted effort is underway by water suppliers to provide functional and purposeful flows for fish and wildlife throughout the Sacramento Valley. For these efforts to be successful and truly benefit fish and wildlife will require modern flows that re-establish the magic natural connection between water and the landscape. The following illustrates how this connection has been made in the Sacramento Valley over the past several years and how water suppliers are working to further advance these important efforts.
